Clad in lavishly decorated ornate golden armour, the Adeptus Custodes are the Emperor's own personal bodyguard. For thousands of years they have guarded the Golden Throne on Terra, remaining vigilant over the Emperor and his palace.
Now, with things looking more dire than ever for the Imperium of Man, the Custodes have begun to send their numbers out into the galaxy, and woe betide any who stand in their way.

This number pales in comparison to the many thousands of Space Marines which exist, for the martial power of the Adeptus Custodes dwarfs even that of the mighty Astartes.
